  1. After Mr Clapper so famously declared that Muslim Brotherhood is a quite secular outfit, I have looked up his bio. While his career path may be distinguished enough, his public appearances testify fairly strongly that the word “intelligence” is mainly to appear in the titles of his various posts and doesn’t have to be applied to the gentleman himself.

    So when he says about one of his deeds “not wittingly”, he may be taken literally at that. Credit where it’s due…

    Besides, delving too deep into the meaning of politician’s words could be hazardous to one’s health and general well-being, and this goes for all politicians of all stripes.
